Trigger Point Therapy
Trigger Point Therapy, a treatment method, is similar to massage chairs, applying constant pressure in specific regions in the back in order to relieve muscle tension.
Spinal Traction
Spinal traction, another method of treatment, is the act of stretching the spine in order to release pressure off of compressed discs in the spine. Spinal Traction can provide significant relief for those experiencing back discomfort. As can be seen, we have combined some of the most effective treatment methods into our brace, something which no other back brace has ever achieved.
The Brace
The EmBrace is made out of multiple key components, those of which include:
The Trigger Point Therapy System, which includes four 3D printed knobs in 2 vital regions of the back[shown as yellow circles]
Furthermore, vibration pads are placed under the knobs which can make the knobs vibrate, providing additional comfort[shown as red circles]
The Spinal Traction system which uses a motor to inflate a pouch that will stretch the spine[shown as the blue rectangle]
Heating pads can be turned on to loosen tense muscles in the back[shown as red rectangles]
In order to turn on these features, buttons will be conveniently placed on the side of the brace[shown as white circles on the bottom left corner]
The rechargeable batteries, as well as an Arduino, a microcomputer, will be embedded in the brace beside the buttons[bottom left corner]
EmBrace is also made out of a waterproof, hypoallergenic, and durable, dri-fit material
EmBrace is also a one size fits all product with adjustable straps on the front of the brace. Thus allowing it to cater to anyone's needs
At the touch of a button...
The Trigger Point Therapy, Spinal Traction, and heating systems can all be easily activated by the touch of a button. The series of buttons are easily accessible for the user. This easy access is another convenient feature of the EmBrace, making it really user-friendly.
